It's been a while since I posted! I figure I should probably pay more attention and update a bit more. I haven't been working on as many commissions as I used to, just not enough time now that I'm working full time. But I managed to squeeze in a rather easy one in-between everything.
With all the plushes that I've made, this is the first one that's like a teddy-bear, or the closest to it. The shape was very basic, just a round head and body. He's shaped similar to a bear but he's very stylized. I didn't really have to worry about making a muzzle or any sort of super detail on his face and body.
The most detail I had to worry about was the large white looking stitches. The lines in the drawing looked a little too thick to be something I could use just thread for, so I used fleece. I took a little bit of glue and stuck it on, so they fleece would stay attached. The glue worked well on the fabric, though I probably wouldn't recommend machine washing him.
Over all he was very simple and a nice and easy project to work on!
